Current customers who licensed a 2006, 2007 or 2008 version of Microsoft Office Accounting are entitled to a free Office Accounting 2009 upgrade. Please reference the below table to determine your upgrade path.
 

For customers who previously licensed one of the following versions of Office Accounting Free Upgrade Path Steps to Get Free Upgrade

   Professional Plus 2008
    		Office Accounting Professional 2009
  1. Go to: Accounting Professional 2009
  2. Click the large “Download Trial” button
  3. Enter your email address and click “Download Trial”
  4. Click link “Click here to start your download now!”
  5. Click “run”
  6. After the download has completed, click “run” and if prompted click “continue”
  7. On the welcome screen, click “yes” to accept terms
  8. On the following screen click “install”
  9. After the installation process has completed, click “finish”
  10. When prompted please enter the product key from your previously paid (2006, 2007 or 2008) version and click “next” to complete setup.
Important - Locating your product key:
  • Office Accounting Professional 2007 & 2008 customers:
    • If you purchased a license for a physical copy, you can find your product key printed on an orange sticker on the inside of the plastic product packaging
    • If you downloaded and purchased a license from our web site at www.ideawins.com the product key was sent to you via confirmation email. If you are unable to locate this confirmation email and would like your key to be sent again please click here
    • Office Accounting Standard 2008 customers: please contact support to obtain your product key.
  • Small Business Accounting 2006 customers: You can find your product key printed on an orange sticker inside the “Install Sleeve” inside the cardboard product packaging.
  • If you are unable to locate the product key for your previously licensed version - please contact Office Accounting support

  8. On the following screen click “install”
  9. After the installation process has completed, click “finish”
  10. Follow the remaining steps to complete the setup process.
