Tell us your best small idea for big business wins
My best small idea for big business wins is to set up a way to generate an email list. Email lists convert extremely high and can’t be taken away from you (unlike social media). They also provide a way for you to keep in contact with your audience (directly to their inbox) so you can nurture them towards a sale. The easiest way to build your email list fast is via FB ads using a freebie (opt-in) or competition.
Tell us about you; your background.
I have been in marketing for 18 years. After graduating with an advertising degree, I went on to work in corporate where I worked my way up to a Marketing Manager role which I remained in for many years. This was for a highly successful international company. Four years ago, I left to start my online business. From there I have grown substantially, launched my own programs, and be able to niche out into marketing areas I know to get success for my clients and students. It’s been exciting to help others build their dream business and get the freedom, profit, and impact they desire.
Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as the real challenge right now?
The biggest challenge right now is standing out. The online course world is becoming extremely saturated. To be an authority in the marketplace, you need to create unique content and ways of doing things that produce meaningful results. This will help set you apart from the competition.
On a lighter note, if you had the ability to pick any business superpower, what would it be and how would you put it into practice?
If I could select any business superpower for my business, it would be automation. I would magically set everything up so that it seamlessly ran itself. This would make life so much easier and dramatically cut my workload. To help other businesses, it would be endless sales with the click of my fingers.
What does “success” in 2023 mean to you? It could be on a personal or business level, please share your vision.
Success for me in 2023 would be growing the online course side of my business to a state where I could dramatically reduce my client workload. This would allow me to get my time back and give me freedom to work on other passion projects and spend more time with loved ones. It would also mean I could help more businesses grow their freedom, profit, and impact to life-changing levels.
